Access grades, mid-term comments, schedules and more through ParentConnect.

Last year Newton Public Schools transitioned to the ParentCONNECT Parent Portal for communicating grades and comments/warnings to open up communication between schools and parents. As a result, report cards and midterm comments/warnings will no longer be mailed home. Please see the instructions and tips below for information on how to log in to the portal to access your student’s Report Card and Midterm Comments/Warnings.

To Access Your Student's Report Card or Midterm Comments/Warnings:

Log-in to ParentCONNECT ( using your username and password. See the tips below for more information on how to recover your password and/or username.

  1. Click "Grades" in the menu on the left.
  2. Click the tab on the top labeled "Report Card/Progress Report."
  3. Click the link called "Click here to see Report Card for Newton North High School" to view a PDF of your student's report card and midterm comments/warnings.
  4. Families with more than one student can use the pull down menu on the right to toggle between students and repeat step 4.

Helpful Tips:

  • Google Chrome is the best browser for viewing your student’s report card and/or midterm comments/warnings at this time. Firefox is not supported on Macs and Safari has been unreliable in the past.
  • If you have forgotten or lost your password, you can reset it by clicking on the “Forgot your password?” link at the bottom of the log-in screen and follow the instructions.
  • If this is your first time logging in to ParentCONNECT and do not have your log-in information, please contact your child’s house office or the main office for help.
  • If you are unable to recover you password you may email   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for assistance. You may also call the school’s main office or your child’s house office with any questions.
  • Please set up an email address and change your password to something more memorable by clicking “Settings” in the upper right of the screen.  Completing these steps will help you to recover your password in the future.
